Our Mission
We aim to create opportunities for young people, helping them discover the possibilities around them.
We have begun by empowering young people facing employment barriers with a barista training program that builds life and valuable skills.
Participants will join our
Learn As You Earn coffee cart initiative, gaining practical experience, mentorship, and guidance to support their personal and professional development.

We now have a place where you can come and enjoy a lovely coffee made by our trained baristas while reading a great book.
Learn as You Earn Program
This part of our program invites young people to embark on an exciting journey, offering invaluable paid work experience that can shape their future. Through hands-on involvement and real-world challenges, participants will develop essential skills, setting the stage for their career aspirations.

When you're trying to kickstart your career, you always run into the same old roadblock: "You need experience to get a job, but you need a job to get experience. " It's a frustrating loop to be caught in.
This program throws the doors wide open, giving young people the chance to step into real roles, learn the skills, and earn independence at the same time.

We were excited to be invited to participate in the LDN Summer Fair with our coffee cart. This was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our buddy programme, which empowers our Becauze staff and trained LDN service users to collaborate effectively and craft exceptional coffee.

How Can We Help?
The Barista Coffee Course
Are you 16 to 25 years old and seeking employment skills?
Join our barista training program! Learn about coffee history, hygiene, and brewing techniques. Upon completion, you'll earn a Becauze CIC certificate and get help finding paid work placements at a coffee shop and the offer of our Learn as You Earn program, where you can get valuable paid work experience.
